Job jobbed. Possibly a duff batch/dubious supply as that's not the first genuine sensor to fail in short order recently  :-\

Hopefully this one will see you right ;)

I would wager that you only do very short journeys...

Get the garage to check the breathers and clean if necessary  :y

General Car Chat / Re: BMW E39 Front Arms
« on: 08 May 2017, 11:50:03 »
Polybushing the originals was what I first had in mind, but then given the arms are aluminium rather than steel, I wondered if that was a good idea?  :-\

I don't want the arm to snap!  :o  ;D

I've seen those cheap arm kits on ebay from Dr G's favourite German factor?  I assumed they're made of cheese to be honest!  ::)
No prizes for guessing where mine came from... Seem to be solid enough, done about a thousand miles on them so far and no grumbles. Got the track rods and droplinks included set. That said I only replaced them due to the wheel arch liner cutting a notch in one arm. Handling is obviously a little tighter due to fresh bushes though.

I've been getting 38 mpg at 55-60 on motorways after a new coil pack was fitted.
That's an improvement over the 28-30 I was getting
At those speeds, your mpg is not a surprise... Toss up between dying of boredom and being run over by a truck though ::)

You didn't misread it, you merely misunderstood it...

Just because Albs doesn't live in Liverpool doesn't mean that STEMO does...

However if you read back, Omegod made the original observation re inner city policy and traditional Labour home ground ;)

Either of the radiator thermoswitches or a failed relay...

There's a guide for testing fan operation :y

The most confounding problems are often the simplest of fixes...

Glad you have it sorted :y

It was typed from memory, and a slight Freudian slip.

Any frustration comes from supposedly intelligent people skim reading and then copping the arse when they're called out on it.

I think Dr G is getting a little frustrated.  :-\

And it must be because despite all the effort he's putting in, he still hasn't had any Polish sausage!  :o  :P  ;D

Maybe Uncle STEMO can advise him?  ::)  :-\
Polski sytuacja jest w porządku dziękuję bardzo.

Had you read and understood that particular post as a whole rather than skim reading it, you might have reacted differently.

You know what, you're not worth the argument.

Bite me. >:(
