My views on Bojo are probably pretty similar to yours.

He is a clown and a buffoon without any real conviction or beliefs. He will jump on any 'cause' that is popular for more than 5 minutes. He is essentially an overgrown schoolboy looking for a leg to hump. His number one priority being to 'keep Carrie amused'

The problem arises when a choice needs to be made between Boris or Starmer.

As an office administrator Starmer would be in his element, he could probably arrange pens and pencils in a straight line even better than James May. As PM he would be out of his depth.

Also, is it necessary for him to be so passionless and dull?

For the record that's not really a choice. Bozzle is actually the elected PM and SKS can be whatever he wants to be. In his head. For him to actually be PM, he would require some depth and a spine. Even a smidgen would be a start.

I would go as far as to suggest that even John Major had more positive attributes than SKS.

However, Boris also has to placate(there's no chance of him leading) the Conservative Party and all its factions. That is probably impossible even for a competent person, which he has never been.

However, Boris also has to placate(there's no chance of him leading) the Conservative Party and all its factions. That is probably impossible even for a competent person, which he has never been.

He has an overall majority of 80, so the next election should be a walk in the park.

However, Harold Wilson once said that a week is a long time in politics so......who knows for sure.

Boris is certainly flawed  but there is a dearth of real talent in the Tory party at the moment. Sad to say he may be the best of a bad bunch.
