Kia Sportage diesel
« on: 13 August 2011, 11:37:48 »

A very dear friend, who lives on her own in a remote Yorkshire village, has to replace her Passat which keeps letting her down. She is thinking of a Kia Sportage for the 4WD due access issues last winter. Does anyone know anthing about these, or had experience? Any info would bbe helpful. :y

Not had any experiance of Kia Sportage, but went out in Kia Sorento on a 4x4 cause, was a very capable!

Not sure on build / reliability, one we had a go in was brand new.

I'm sorry, I don't quite follow the logic here. Are you saying that anything new at the right price is good? Not necessarily in my experience. :-?

never driven a kia sportage but i drove a kia picanto on holiday last year. i wasn't impressed. it looked nice (imo) but was pretty awful to drive.

however, someone has obviously thought ''actually kia can be a good car company'' cos their latest picanto offering looks superb with lots of kit as standard.

so that with the 7 year warranty looks a good bet imo  :y

ps might also be worth looking at used

what i am saying is  this will suit some people for the convenice and piece of mind.but do make sure they drive one as they are a bit plastic inside and its not the solid type and they are hard to see out of when reversing
