A bit of sunshine always seems to help with energy and motivation levels for some reason.
Once you get started you will probably get it done in no time.  :y

Ok so achieved a tiny bit today.

Removed the old radiator. Removed the fan / cowling, Autobox cooler, switches / sensors and gubbins (and the aux coolant pump).

Then fitted it all to the new rad.

Then fitted the new rad to the car.

I know it’s not much but it feels like a win, I despise changing radiators in Omegas for some reason!!

The new rad had a couple of damaged fins, but it’s localised and won’t remotely affect how water tight it is, and won’t affect the operation.

It was also “new old stock” and only about £25 delivered from Germany so I’m not moaning!

The only other thing I’ve achieved is taking the plenum to bits, and putting it in my “spare” dishwasher in the man cave along with some other parts! (I don’t have water in there, but I’ve bodged up a feed from the outside tap when I need to use it!).

I then cleaned up, and I’ve done a 3 mile walk through the fields to the pub with the dog, where I’m typing this.

Quick pint or three, and I’ll walk the three miles back, and have some grub before going out tonight.

Ended up walking in just a T shirt and Jeans - the sun is lovely (and the Guinness is cold!)

In no particular order:

Never mind the pics of the boring omega, doggie pics please.
We've taken our new addition up to North Yorkshire for the week. Bit cold for a nine week old pup, but I really couldn't care less if we sit in watching the telly and looking at the scenery all week. A change really is as good as a rest.

Great pics! Looks like a very nice corner of our little island where you are.

Also well done on getting out on the car. Getting started is always the hardest part

Millie is my best friend, I (genuinely) don’t think I could have got through the last year without her :y
