With mileage adjustment the car is worth in a private sale about what you paid for it.circa £2300.that would be for a car in very good condition with service history and needing nothing doing to it.Deduct from this price the cost of essential repairs, also they put back on the original alloys with worn tyres . You will have to spend money on it if you want the purchase price back.

Have you had this car looked over today?

I think a good omega man is required mon or tues in merthyr tydfil to attend to the car and earn some dough. the lady has a predicament and there must be a Knight somewhere to rescue the damsel in distress.

Tell us a bit more about what you bought,e.g. miles, colour, service history etc.,the problems you have mentioned can be rectified but dont be tempted to throw good money after bad. i would have it mot`d asap and make a decision whether to spend money on it then.Good luck anyway.

Real butter only to be added and a dash of brown sauce to be sure

zurich-connect.co.uk blew everyone else out of the water for the wifes recently, under 10k a year 10 years no claims etc.
Finally got to ditch those thieves at aa car insurance who stitched us up on renewal last year and tried it again this year.
i think protected no claims added £8 to the total. Oh and nearly always a named driver wife/brother/friend will reduce the premium so long as they have a clean licence and are a normal risk.

They rent or buy them with the money paid to them each week by the state!,and the days of hard labour are over.

Fully understood,cheers.

When i come to sell my car,if possible, i would like these conditions totally relaxed,an open invitation put out to all raters and slaters to get stuck in and let battle commence.
I pride myself on buying at retail, making them mint and selling at trade!

Well i am stuck between a rock and a hard place because i find both yours and Simon Omega 2`s attitude unpleasant to the point of personally insulting but surely i am in the right section to say this.

Always more than happy to agree to disagree

I cannot agree hotel21,none of the other advertising outlets are an owners forum,if anything trade adverts for cars should be banned unless they mention all known prevalent omega failures and whether they have been rectified or are warranted.

You guys sticking up for the motor trade either have a vested interest or are being naive.
I would like to see omega prices strengthen but at the same time i definitely do not want to see someone having their trousers taken down.
I have experience of the motor trade, its a simple task to justify a price tag, this forum is about sharing experience and pitfalls with the omega and anyone selling theirs ought to expect to put prospective customers minds at ease. Yes buyer beware but an omega for sale on this forum should be able to run the gauntlet.

I would hazard a guess the opinions you want keeping off the thread would be the ones that do not suit your interests.
