"No CD"???
« on: 27 March 2012, 20:04:20 »

Hello!
So it's been 3 years since I used my car and as I'm putting her back on the road, I thought I would put in some of my favourite CD's... Put them in, put the cassette into the slot....
Checking CD 1, 2, 3, 4..... "NO CD" is what I get...

Any ideas???

It was fine before???

could be that its not been used in a long time and got a film of dust on the lazer, try a dry cleaning disc not a wet one see if that helps.

Suspect the laser has died, I would normally recommend against cleaning disks, as they do far more damage than good, but as its shagged anyway....
