(alarm) power sounder help please

hi can anyone help please alarm goes of mainly when you switch ignition on and a couple of times when driving but it doesn't seem as loud as it used to be, also does not go off when locked though well not yet anyway why i said its not as loud as it used to be is when it went of before when left window open it was deafening but now its quite tolerable

Its probably dying.Take it off and bin it before it sets fire to your car. ;)

yes i did reed something like that on here when it did go of i wasn't sure at first what it was i was sure it was a lot louder than that now i cant even seem to set it of by locking myself in the car vire the sensors

Replace the powersounder with a brand new one from vauxhall - the part that is failing is the battery back up siren batteries.

Significant problems can arise (even combustion) if this fault is left unnattended for too long - so would suggest to replace it asap.

Quite a few members including myself have binned the powersounder altogether due to the combustion issue.
A few OOFers have also posted pictures of the after effects of this when the sad event has happened.
It is better to get it sorted now rather than when it is too late.

It's an easy job to take it off and bin it, I read how to do it on this forum.
