Title: Wanted: V6 Injector Loom
Post by: tunnie on 15 August 2016, 13:53:36
For the 3.2 LPG Project, I need a V6 Injector loom with the two grey plugs, I need as much loom on the other end as possible. 6-8 inches. (queue jokes here)

Thanks  :y

To clarify, this is the big grey plug for the injectors. Needs both plug and socket with the wire tails at least 6-8 inches, if not more. It is to build a new loom :y

I might have an upper 3.0 or 3.2 (cant remember which it came from, fairly sure their the same) inlet manifold complete with injectors and rail and its been pre drilled and fitted with LPG Injectors from a OMVL Dream system, also has the Soliniods / Relays and most of the Petrol / LPG Loom etc kicking around somewhere.

I sourced it years ago for my 3.0 LPG Irmscher, as the one fitted on the car was fitted by the Installer by drilling the upper Penlium and injecting from the top, so I was going to swop / correct it etc.

I sold the car a few years back now, and honestly cant remember if I left it in the boot for the new owner or not, will need to check.  :-\

Do you have just the one?

Let me know if you do, as I was going OMVL injectors anyway. I guess I could just swap the petrol injectors over if it's a 3.0 manifold.

It's the only half I have...

VXL V6 can show you a picture of my spare injector loom as it's built into his LPG loom :y

Of the two halves, the one pictured is rarer as it usually stays on the car when scrapped, whereas the injector loom tends to come out with inlet manifold/engine ;)

I believe I have one of the injector looms from under the plenum. Will have to double check. Free to good home.

I have, found it in the parts shed the other day but he said it had two grey plugs ? think I have a 3.2 engine loom too :y

The engine loom under the plenum (with the 6 injector plugs) is easily sourced. As Gollum says, the other half generally gets scrapped with the car ::)

Before it goes to the scrapyard can you cut the plug and a length of loom off of the car and hold in stock please? It's something that will likely get requested again for LPG conversions :y

I have the full loom from injectors and the full engine loom with grey plug that fits onto the injector loom and is still part of the engine loom, taken from a 3.2 :y off the car ready for posting if needed
