CCR600/BOSE/HEAD UNIT
« on: 30 December 2009, 19:00:39 »

Hi Everyone. all the best for the coming year 2010.
Can someone please help me? my CCR600 has packed up. and it has a bose system fitted in the back. how can i get this to work with a standard head unit?
i purchased the facia adapter and the wiring loom from my local dealer. which has two plugs? one for the power and the other for the speakers. there is another, i'm guessing it's for the steering controls? the new satandard units powers up and plays, but no sound. i'm guessing there is no feed going from head unit to amp? how can i do this?
your help is very much appreciated.

I think you need to double check, has this ever worked?

The CCR600 isn't a Bose unit. Does it say CCR600 or Bose on the front of the radio?

The CCR600 should say CCR600 and not say Bose, only the CCR800 says Bose.

Hope this helps as  staring point.
