Aux Belt
« on: 10 March 2009, 19:19:09 »

Hi all

Bit of a problem -

Aux belt seems to have come adrift, looks like the large pulley behind the dual ram has worked a bit loose.

Anyone have a copy of schematics to see if I can match what I'm seeing under the bonnet and what it should be?

As you can guess, not exactly the most experienced with a toolkit (used to working with two wheels) and new to Omega's - Car was perfect for a few weeks, but this has me a little worried!!!

Any help out there?

v6?

If so, starting from tensioner top left, clockwise, goes to PAS (top right), A/C (bottom right), crank (centre bottom), water pump (centre), alternator (bottom left)

Guess you are talking about water pump

Water pump would make sense - had some overheating issues and the temp shot up on the way home, pulled the bonnet when I arrived and found it adrift.

Whoops - it's a 2.5 V6
