v6 cambelt

hi,started today doing cambelt change on my 2.6 mv6,all stripped down, 3 and 4 bank locking tool slots in fine, 1 and 2 doesnt,timing way advanced (last done at vaux dealer)!,how do i move it back to fit the tool,looked at dvd but only shows retarded timing advanced by centre tensioner to fit tool, :-/

use similar method to timing new belt - if its more than a tooth out, crank needs to go to 60 degrees btdc, the belt removed, cams locked at correct position (using marking on backplate), then move crank back to tdc...

thanks, thought that would be the thing to do just wanted to be sure,done many cars never a v6, :y
