Might give this a go myself, But surely it's not a can of compressed air it's some sort of cool air / gas mixture  Would a hair dryer work

I thought it was some kind of 'freeze spray'. 

Doubt a hairdryer would get it warm enough. Paint/varnish heat guns blow seriously hot, hence the reason of keeping the gun moving.

I've got a bottle of compressed air I normally use to clean laptop keyboard with doesn't work very well will check tomorrow if the air is cold from the bottle upside down.

The hair dryer in question was around £150 I think it blows some serious heat might give it a try tomorrow if I can. Might even take a video (won't upload if it doesn't work  )

I can confirm compressed air is freezing 

Did try the method in the video's but with a hair dryer got the body hot sprayed the air for a good 10 seconds nothing happens. Also tried tapping the panel lightly.

Could be the dents I've tried aren't the type that this method works best with or the metal is not as flimsy as French/Korean car panels so wont work, Not going to try a heat gun don't fancy risking damaging the paint work.

Worth a try anyway.

I still can't see a hair dryer having anywhere near the heat of a DIY hot gun.  If you used one as you would an ordinary hair dryer, the hair would be frazzled in a couple of seconds.
