Managed to get replacement door lock mechanism. Looking for advice on fitting one of the connections. There a 4 with 3 being connected with rods which are straight forward. Need advice on the one for the handle appears to be a bit of plastic at the bottom does it just sit in the hole,  dont see anything to secure it. there was nothing securing the one I removed. The plastic just sits in the hole ...... and it's easy to fit the handle & miss the hole with the plastic bit.  They stay in place with respect to each other when the handle is fitted.

The plastic just sits in the hole ...... and it's easy to fit the handle & miss the hole with the plastic bit.  They stay in place with respect to each other when the handle is fitted. 

Thought that but wasnt sure if there was maybe some cir clip or something that had maybe fallen of the one I removed. Thanks for that, now I can put it on without it wont pop out.
