I took my test in my girlfreinds 1967 Triumph Herald. When the examinare asked me to turn the car around in a narrow road using forward and reverse gears I thought to myself what a waste of time with a 23 feet turning circle the car could do it in a u turn

Unreal!!!

I took my test on 6 November 1979 in a 1967 triumph Herald 1200 saloon. I also did a U-turn, and then got taken into Boston's narrowest street where I did a 29 point turn!

This gets spookier Fin, I also passed in 1979 the Herald was a 1200 saloon, your wasn't cactus green was it?
