White Silicone grease

Been having a look through the workshop manual for various jobs like water pump and it says on installation to lube the mating surfaces and rubber seal with silicone grease (white). Is this not just vaseline or is it some other special gloop I need to use? I do like my lube  :D

No vaseline  contains no silicon vaseline is a paraffin jelly :y
