In Nottingham I do recommend Nottingham 4 wheel alignment centre. Mick is a friendly bloke and doesn't pad the job out with extras you don't need. Mine only needed toe doing after both wishbones and the steering idler change at the weekend. Cost £32 + VAT and no longer handles like a triffle on steroids. Lubbly jubbly straight line and no more screeeeeeeeeeeeeching.

Top job, straight steering wheel and 168 MPG now. Ok I lied about the MPG, but the rest is true.
168 MPG...I was gonna ask for a How2.  ;D

not being to clever about these things,do i have to ask for the toe and camber to be done? or will they do it when the re align the wheels?
You should arm yourself with some info before you go and get it done, unless of course you know for sure the guy knows what he is doing.

S'why i said you should check out http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk  ::)

And before you go running off to your local KwikFit, you should brush up by visiting wheels-inmotion. An informative read.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I'm not sure power would come back at 4k if it was DIS or leads. Doesn't something happen with the multiram between those revs and couldn't that cause this problem? My memory isn't very good these days but I think I hear a distant bell tinckling  :)
Yep, i was thinking more multiram than DIS.

I'm sure MarksDTM will have the deciding vote.  ;)

Hi,

This is the only one I found http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1159642895/20#20

A few questions:

1. Where can you get these batteries?

2. Does anyone have anymore information on how to do this job apart from from what I found in the link?

3. Lastly and most importantly, if the car bleeps in the way I have described is there any chance that the alarm system could interfere with the car by immobilising it etc?

Cheers, Red.

1. You can find info on the batteries here, the part numbers required have been in previous posts, this dude will also make them up for you if required.

2. It is a pretty straightforward job, some patience and soldering required though.  ;)

3. Absolutely not. Your alarm system will still work as it should, the only difference is that the power sounder will not sound for as long as it should if your battery is disconnected.  Mine was doing it for years. :y

Different prices for LH and RH.  ::)

RH £116 Retail, £99 Normal Trade
LH £116 Retail, £93 Normal Trade

Prices are plus VAT.

You should be able to buy your parts at 'Normal Trade' prices from your dealer, just ask. If you don't get it go elsewhere.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Mark, didn't you suggest that there was a way around the airbag issue by using a certain value resistor?  ::)
