Can anyone help?
« on: 07 May 2007, 11:11:16 »

I need to change a gearbox, but I don't reckon my Jack's man enough.

I'm unsure that I'm going to be able to afford to buy a really decent enough one this month, and I'd love to get the job done asap, to get out of limp mode!

Plus, I need to take advantage of the free box, and remove it before the car has to be scrapped!

Is anyone local to me, that would trust me to borrow a decent jack, and pref a set of stands? Need to get the car at least high enough to pop the gearbox out from underneith...

If its a brief borrow for a day, then you can borrow mine.  If its longer, I am using mine a lot at the moment do to tractor issues...

I've now splashed out, so I should be ok ;D

I still need to get the timing kit back to you... if you're in a rush for it, then I can post, I'm not sure when I can get over at the moment due to work :(

If you need it though, just say, I'll pop in the post....
