we fitted solar on the house roof about 10-11 years back
due to a cock up with installer we just missed the higher payback tarriff

I like the idea of a freestanding carport solar kit, can I ask what kind of costing are you on?

I had a boss that drank at least a bottle of scotch a day,
given to mood swings,
someone bumped his car in the carpark and the paint was the same colour as my car,
explained that I didnt have a parking spot so had to park in the street being a lowly 18yr old

he exploded and grabbed me, until I explained if he didnt let go he would be leaving via the full height window.

I got a transfer soon after that.

Speaking of footballists......did I hear right that a young player from Norway is to be paid £400,000.....A WEEK.

That's about what a good builder earns... :)
Not soo , I'm so poor I have to re use the nozzles on 330ml sleeves of sealant  and mastic  :D

Ah yes, Dave. but you are a competent and honest builder so you'll never be rich :y

The builders I encounter suck air through their teeth shake their heads and say things like....." not an easy job mate you're looking at a couple of grand minimum".

I decided to replace the three loose roof tiles myself. Took about 20 minutes. :)

You should be careful doing that sort of thing at your age.  :o  You'll put something out!  :P  :D

met a "builder" this morning, his van side said "xyz gardening"  he hadnt a clue what he was doing, but had just been paid £20k to build an extension.

the billing show has been a thieving ground for years, generally anything not nailed down overnight is nicked, every tar a few cars are nicked, and cars in the carpark are stripped.

local lad I know was picked on by two 18 stone blokes
jai was about six stone wringing wet but a bantam weight boxer,
there was a flurry of fists, both blokes slumped against the bar, and jai holding his beer,

jai looked like the kid off junglebook hence the nickname.
