Are they any good?

As both cars are not used much these days for long journeys, I though of getting a couple.

They can be a bit hit and miss plus they need to be directly connected to the battery live (as the standard ports will get shut down after a period of time).

Might just be easier to fit a convenient charge port and occasionally connect a charger to them (This is what the F_type is getting)

This one's got an ODBII port connector.

I dont think we get the sun enough for small panels to actually do anything useful.

And its rarely the summer when you need the battery maintained ;)

The wife's astra will be laid up for weeks now she is on her summer break. It's been the same for the last two years and it has never had any problems starting. I'm talking to you, Barry.
