Front wheel bearing / hub change.
« on: 12 March 2021, 13:08:53 »

Just done the above after the nearside went from noisy to wobbly  :-[
Got my hands on a decent pull so off it came (in 3 pieces) with no bother  :y
Question is ............ It my be my alcohol abused grey matter fading but isn't there supposed to be a plastic or metal spacer / washer between the nut and the bearing face to help stop grease loss when very hot  ?
The one removed didn't have one nor has did the new kit  :-\

TIA  :)

From memory, there is definitely one at the back where the reluctance ring is, the front I recall you couldn't actually quite see as it was recessed into the machined housing (but then has the nut over it and the dirt cap to).

Hope you are ok by the way  :y
