I've had two squibs go faulty, that's the link from the steering wheel to the column, I'd put money on that, then, apparently!  The warning light needs turning off in TECH II..  I'm sure it doesn't cycle out like engine management sensors..

DC

P.S. what's your tech II, why Hungarian?  etc.....

The airbag light can only be reset with a Tech II, AFAIK, the only software available (apart from a real Tech II) capable of resetting the air bag light is in Hugarian.

There are some members who seem to get all the probs, while others (touch wood) seem to be quite lucky

To update members who didn't follow the original saga.

Drivers door air bag sensor replaced under warranty January 2006.

Air bag sensor light came on in November 2006, diagnosed by TheBoy as drivers door airbag sensor.

Replaced, and light reset by TheBoys real Tech II.

Now the lights come on again.

It's got to be something else other than the drivers door bag sensor for it to keep coming on.

I'll try and take a reading in daylight tomorrow, and try and reset it with the software I've got.

Otherwise, it looks like a trip to Northampton again, if that's OK with you TB.
