£180M on offer.
A lot dont enter, but if you do.
What would be your 1st Purchase? ::)
I think mine would be sending the Elite off for body strenthening, Brake (Carbon) mods & LS V8, maybe some add on's like twin turbos and NOS. Rebuild the running gear, new paint job but keep the outside stock and then rent a race track to play on. 8)
Would make an ideal sleeper to catch people out.
:-X
-
1st purchase would be to pay off all my bills.
Second purchase would be the retainer of a very good accountant
Third purchase would be the retainer of a very good solicitor.
-
I'd buy an Island, or two.
-
Hard to imagine. Change my address and, probably, name.
-
Nissan GTR x 2, one for me, one for my best mate. They'd do until I got a big enough garage/house.
-
Hard to imagine. Change my address and, probably, name. I'd then give all of it to Opti because he is a great guy.
Thanks.... :-* :-*

I'd give you absolutely anything I don't have, Opti, just name it ;D

Hard to imagine. Change my address and, probably, name. Buy a spare wheel from Vauxhall that's the right PCD.
Fixed that for you ::)

I await it's arrival, then I can venture forth, unconcerned with the fear of a flat tyre. ;D

That's one way of wasting your money. Me - I prefer the George Best approach. :D

Both good idea, I would just keep the bank balance out of the conversation. and the solicitors 1st job would be writeing my will as it would exclude all my new friends & new family that just appeared. :(
Plus banks, I would hate having a bank earning more from my money than I would be. :-\

What did Bestie say?
He spent most of his money on booze, birds, and fast cars.......the rest he just wasted. ;D

This is all rather sensible and dull, Skruntie.
Not a single mention of 'birds with big tits' ;D
-
Would need a new home, 6/8 bedrooms with garageing for a few cars (maybe 30 or so)10 ramps 10 over, 10 under & 10 infront)) Must have a few acres to build a rally track, lake to fish in & and camping field for OFF meets. :y
OH and a helicopter landing pad :-[
Bowling alley ::)
the list goes on and on :y
-
A house on Lake Como and another on the Amalfi coast. A nice big house set in a few acres not too far from where I live now.
A fully equipped workshop in the grounds would be a must. As is a fishing lake.
A collection of nice cars and bikes, just to look at. Hopefully including a Gilles Villeneuve Ferarri, Mansell Williams, Senna McClaren ,one of Hamiltons earlier cars, and a Joey Dunlop TT bike - preferably an RC45.
A music studio with a nice collection of instruments, particularly guitars.
Buy nice houses for my kids, and thats about it. The rest of the world can far cough. ;D
As you can probably tell, Ive never really given it any thought, :D

I think a night out with Miss Dusty would be required as well to see if she would write a book about the spending. ::)

A lot of what you posted would be on my list, My studio would have to sound profed though as I fancy a drum kit and a load of amps to do the back to the future thing with the guitar.
-
..... to do the back to the future thing with the guitar.
Which one? The bit where he plays one chord? Or the bit where his hand is disappearing whilst playing?
-
Something quick, and available to scratch the spend itch . . . just to get things going before I get serious.

I cant play at all, I just want to make lots of noise. How ever I do have a mate who is a singer and would show me how to go on with the studio, plus there are a few female friends that would be very entertaining on a stage after a few drinks & they can sing as well. :y :y

I think I would like some time out 1st :-X
Saying that, I have a couple of 33 year old mates, both single, 2 40 year old babes I know but sadly married. Then I have a couple of ex GF's that I speak to on a regular basis and I have the hots for 3 lady's that are are all older than me. :y
So in an ideal world thats a different one each day with the married ones for a bit of fun. ::) ::) ::)

MILF action then....
Oh yes.
One is quite busty & amazing hips ::)
Other 2 are just stunning and have hearts of gold. Gorgeous figures. ::)
But all 3 of them have a great sence of humour , very knowledgeable and we spend hours talking about anything and everthing. ::)

I bought one of these off a mate with the practice amp quite a while ago and then found out the amp was dodgy, think I posted about it (input socket was brocken)

First thing is tell no one, I'd wait until there was an anonymous winner of around 5 million and tell my family I'd won that so they can set their expectations of my generosity on that sum. 180 million is a ludicrous amount of money
Second thing would be a month long holiday somewhere warm to get my head together
Third would be to build the best Art Deco house ever to grace these shores
Fourth would be to recreate the "Patrick collection" from the 80's
Fifth , I'd buy the wife a new handbag ;D
Wider ambition with a sum that great would be to build a small housing estate that would be gifted in trust to the local children's hospice and the rental income generated would cover all of their running costs for the next 50 yrs

I had a similar thought but using unemplyed to go into and learn the trade along experianced trade. and then give some homeless people a chance to a better life (especially the ex forces) and possibly a job.
So much money, so many good things could be done. :y

Very important this.....
Give somebody £100,000 and they won't be able to thank you enough. Give them £100,000 and then tell tell you have won £180 million and they will think you are a tight bastard.

Would that be 'mock ' Art Deco? :)
Empire State building and the Chrysler building are fine examples of Art Deco. :y

After that a new knee as mine is knackered

1) Pay off all my debts.
2) A nice low mileage L322 Range Rover or Discovery 4.
3) New left hip.
4) A boat.
5) I'd knock down my house and build a 'grand design'.
6) Maybe another boat. Narrow boat?
7) Travel.

1 and 3-7, ok. But you still can't get your head around buying a brand new vehicle, even with £185 million. ;D ;D
-
A Georgian style house with a triple garage either side, no more than six vehicles at a time but would change them regularly until I found the perfect collection, a lot to a charity that we already support, my three best friends would want for nothing. A lot of travel once I am satisfied that it is reasonably safe to do so probably by private jet, a couple of Shire horses as both of us think that they are beautiful creatures.

No, I'm just a simple country boy really. :)

Shit, I forgot I want to own and fly my own spitfire too, only 3.6 million each so I could have a squadron :y
-
I could give a million pounds to all of my friends, and still have £180 million left ;D

You know that buying them is the cheap, affordable part of owning a Spitfire? That's true of any aeroplane, but the numbers are much larger with warbirds.
-
I'd Probably have my Omega painted a more common colour ,like spectral or prestige blue
to get rid of it's teenage ache outbreak (Z157 star silver 3 )

With a jackpot of £180M does that mean you dont actually have any friends?

That reminds me, I would also have a well sorted Chevette HS in my collection for old times sake.
I have yet to drive a car that was as much fun to drive as that was.

After the above . . . . .?
.
I have to say cars, any car, would be low on my priority list. Listen, I drive a Volvo, and had several Omegas. Nuff said.
.
The big spend would have to be a second home. Possibly upmarket suburbs of Marrakech, or maybe South of France. Marrakech is not everyone's cup-of-tea but we like it.
-

Ditto.
-
Actually, to be honest, I would fund a homeless shelter and an animal rescue to be run by my daughter. She would love to spend her life helping people and animals who need help rather than doing the buy / sell shit every day.
Her heart is far to big to be working in the job she does.
Would also take swmbo to Memphis and Minneapolis as she is a big fan of Elvis and Prince and would like to visit their hometowns.
Probably send the Son to Vegas for a fortnight as he would bet on two flies crawling up a wall.
Pay someone to build me a Facelift Omega Elite with Lotus Carlton running gear for a bit of fun.

Always fancied an XJR-15 given that a CX75 is unachievable.
Of course, big house with lots of garages and a shed for the train would be good
-
As someone said recently, Lottery tickets = A tax on hope.
8)
-
When I was running our syndicate at work for the "normal" lottery if we had amassed a few quid I would sometimes buy some euro tickets but never won a single penny , had several small wins on the lotto with the syndicate though. My best win on my own ticket was £14,000 a few years back & I won £74 a couple of weeks ago, I've a pal who puts £10 a week on the Lotto and has never won a single penny since it started.

If it's possible, I wonder what a private spur onto the rail network would cost. ???

The normal National Lottery increased the number of balls a while back, on top of increasing the ticket price, thus the odds became very much worse. Before then I would get the occasional small win, enough to keep me interested, I once got £1,500. However, now it's pretty much pissing money up the wall. £180m? The Lottery likes to see these big numbers being thrown around as it's publicity, in reality however I would much rather have a better chance of getting just £1m, or less. I would not complain about £100K!

Think of a number, multiply it, multiply it again, then remember its Network Rail, add some more, factor a ten year time frame in, add a bit more.....then realise even the euro millions could not cover it. ;D

It took many many years for the ELR to be joined to the main line at Heywood ;) I assume that was a money thing (as well as a bridge ;D) )

-
An unassuming newbuild warehouse type place with a glass corner for the 'house' to sit.
Possibly with boat access. And a runway. Although that would mean enough space for one and no immediate neighbours. Which would make for a long walk to the pub.

I just asked my mate his thoughts on this topic , his answer was to open a lap dancing club and do interviews/auditions for about 2 years.. 😁

For £180 million?
Probably...

Doubt it, she's worth millions from selling bras and her husband is a billionaire.

A Jaguar dealer might do a head gasket for £180 million.

Just had this message pop up
Player notice – 22/03/21:
From 22nd April 2021, players will need to be 18 or over to play National Lottery games.
I allways thought they had to be over 18 to play.
Imagine a 16 year old winning the £175M a few weeks ago and not having a driving licence :-\
