My Mondeo Titanium X's drivers seat is a bit flat as well. 
I've always assumed that it was a cab before I bought it, as although it had a reasonable mileage, a few of the switches like the AC, Hazards and the heated seats, were worn, so I think it had a fat bastard sat in it for hours going nowhere very far.

« on: Yesterday at 15:35:53 »I'm only at the very start of looking at this Ste, but my initial thoughts are to leave the seatbelt as untouched Ford at both ends, which takes care of pretensioners. The only other SRS components afaik are the seat occupancy sensors. Something to be worked out but I'd hope to be able to take across the Ford items.Buy a cushion

« on: 25 April 2024, 22:02:53 »Finally got around to agreeing to have the meters replaced. Both gas and electricity were over 20 years old so 10+ years overdue.....
Waited all afternoon on Monday - no show.
Rescheduled for this morning - British Gas installer arrived and got on with swapping the meters.
Electrical meter swapped first and left to establish communications while the gas meter was swapped.
Gas meter swapped. Waited. Waited a bit longer.
I now have two shiny new dumb meters
To be fair, Auckland is a fair way for the British Gas installer to go between jobs.

The woeful Marina was laughably seen as 'the future' when introduced in 1971......despite the antiquated engineering coming straight from the mid 1950's.
For a long time now I've had a hankering for a morris traveller with a V6, Vauxhall or jag as a bit of a runabout, would make an amusing sleeper.
My Mum had a Morris Minor with an engine from a Austin Healy Sprite and Dolomite Sprint running gear. At least that's what I think it had, but whatever it was definitely a sleeper. The only clue was the slightly fatter wheels.
