2002 3.2 Omega Elite LT
« on: 21 November 2009, 00:01:46 »

OK - bunch of photos taken the other day. 'Scuse the pine needles - they get everywhere!

Had been on the hunt for several years for a 'proper' 3.2 Elite - not some shoddy ex-plod GLS wanna-be. And got one (after a succession of Jags!) Proper nice example too.

Decent mpg too as average 25.5 over 752miles about half of that round town. Quite pleased at that!

Sadly having to sell as just rehomed a (rescued) dog. Wet dog+saloon car + full leather do not mix.

Both our Omegas are silver, I think that silver suits them better than any other colour. That is a very very nice looking Elite you have there. :y

Ooh, such a nice car you got there! I'm drooling  ;)

I would die to get one myself, but, living in Norway makes that impossible. How much do you pay for an example like that?
Just for comparison, a 2002 2.2 Elegance (not sure what that converts to in the UK) with 41000 miles is about £16000 in this country.

Yet again, this car was just sweet  :)

These currently sell for between £1700 for a really horrible, rusty, super high mileage one to about £2500 for a mint example (PRIVATE SALE) - add £1000 to that if it was on a garage forecourt.

I actually prefer the anthracite colour (metallic charcoal) over the silver, although they did also come in an absolutely stunning dark metallic blue (first estate I had).
It is a stunning example - I'm on my fourth and having looked for 'the perfect' Elite this one came onto the market - I just snapped it up. FSH & fairly low mileage and nearly every extra added (ONLY the colour screen & the phone are missing) - first registered owner was Vauxhall themselves - so nice 'flagship' model.

Are you selling this? I seem to remember seeing some similiar pictures on ebay? It certainly looks very nice. The only thing I'd point out is that in your listing title you haven't mentioned 3.2. The title is the one ebay came up with when you put the registration mark in. As the 3.2 is rare, I'd definitely put 3.2 in the title as it'd attract more people to it as some may assume by just browsing it's a 2.6.
