Here is a nice picture of 24 bent valves, some more bent than others..(just like real life) . CHANGE YOUR CAM BELT !!
 :o Finally got the photo up..sorry for delay.Now where did I leave that cheque book...? :(

I would also check that you havent got valve guide damage as well, some of thos are very bent.
I bought my car with valve damage and had to have all the guides replaced as they were split. :(

Probably not. At least 24 new valves, although it would probably be a lot cheaper to source a pair of heads. The valve seats or guides (in the heads) could be damaged anyway so realistically its going to be a pair of heads.
The valves could have damaged the piston crowns, so they need inspection. If pistons are damaged then its dismantle and replace piston(s) or just drop another engine in.
Sometimes the valve heads will snap off and either imbed themselves in the piston crowns - cracking the pistons, or the valve head can become jammed between the piston and the bore which damages both. So again its a total rebuild or another engine.
