Door in Boot

Can anyone tell me if a Omega saloon rear door will fit in an Omega saloon boot?

If so, is that with rear seats up or down?

It will fit. I had a front door with the back seat down, but it encroached only about an inch or two in the end. Perfectly possible that once you've jiggled it in place, you might be able to bring the rear seats back up again. Though there was just the two of us, so no need to bother.

Back doors smaller, and so I'd say easily with back seats up.  :)

Just in case anyone wondered both nearside doors from an estate will fit into an astra hatch.

Isnt she allowed to sit in the front passenger seat then ?  ???

I can get a Capri bonnet in a Capri, which I'm assured is impossible. A normal folding engine crane goes in, but you can only carry one passenger.
 
And there are instances where the parts are smarter than driver: I collected a T9 gearbox with my sister's Mini. This meant unbolting the Capri(you can probably see a theme here) passenger seat, to stand the gearbox in the footwell. Half a roll of duct tape 'held' the seat and gearbox in position for the drive home. What I should have done is unbolted the bellhousing, and put the gearbox in the boot.
