LPG Tank for sale.
« on: 09 October 2009, 13:01:36 »

Up for grabs is a cylinder LPG tank, capacity 60L and mounting kit.

As you can see it comes with fixing kit. It came out of a Miggy saloon, but the mounting bars are adjustable so would fit others.

The all important date label shows its only a couple of years old, so well within its sell-by-date. Its in good condition, a few scrapes but nothing serious.

Looking for £45.

I've already got a tank in my boot which looks similer, if not the same as the one youre selling

question is are they easy to connect together? (even better would you be able to do it for me for a price) would rather loose more boot space then fill up 3 times a week!

I know it can be done, landrovers etc often have several tanks, but I have no experience of this and would rather not try. There are plenty LPG installers who could prob do this for you.

Not hard to add another tank... I did it with my Rangie :y :y

Trouble is, it'll be harder to mount another tank in the boot as the petrol tank will be in the way for bolting everything in underneath ::) ::)

dont want to drill though the petrol tank ;)

is there any other way around it? what  about a spare wheel tank or would it be too diffcult to mount in that position?

These mounts go through the sides of the boot, and you could route the pipes prety much where ever you wanted.
