everything keeps reseting

hi all.my clock and radio and keys keep resetting.as if power is disconnected and then re connected very quickly.its getting very annoying!!ive disconnected the power sounder and battery recentl,could this be the cause?with the wires to the power sounder etc should i have created a loop by cutting them or not? :y :y
