autobox problem
« on: 06 September 2010, 10:40:23 »

the autobox on my mig started doing all sorts of funny things the other day.i popped the bonnet and discovered the front drivers side of the engine bay is slaughtered in ATF.upon closer inspection there seem to be 2 metal pipes with rubber sections running along the inside of the inner wing and it looks like one of these pipes has split.am i correct in assuming that these are from the autobox and how much of a job is it to replace one or both of them?

The pipes from the autobox to the oil cooler in (or in front of) the rad?

Seem to be reliable enough to get by with a set from a breaker.  Never changed them myself though
