Today is Monday for me after some time off work.

Ten minutes at my desk and I regretted walking back in the door, by 9.15am I was starting to seriously consider quitting and at this point I am just about ready to get up and walk out and not look back. This place is run by utter, utter retards.

You could try a job swap with TB... a change is as good as a rest etc...

Is there any potential for you to do your job for yourself? Put another way, do you need the company in order to do what you do?

We could rubber-in each others car parks.. Wait.. that sounds wrong.

Specifically what I do really requires a big corporate behind it - I support high-value (tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars per item) bits of network kit for other big corporates and big corporates like to deal with big corporates.. we do have lots of resellers/distis/integrators who suck employees away from us but that means working as a consultant, which means never being at home..

I really must think up some kind of life plan that gets me away from it all.. other than winning the Euromillions!
