Maintaining is not the same as fixing as you well know, having spent the same time not fixing your fleet of Vauxhalls ;)

Still filling, rubbing and painting panels for the Austin. Will be soooooooo glad when its all painted as I hate body work. Then its back on the Omega running gear .

Woooohooooo - Elsie through the MOT for another year. Slight whinge about the handbrake reserve travel - but the handbrake has always been close to useless on it.

Always a good feeling.  Assuming you always use the handbrake, just a spot of adjustment needed ;).  Omega handbrakes are useless for doing U-turns in the road, but plenty good enough to work as a parking brake :)

Finally found out how long the fuel light stays on for :-[

Annoying it doesn't flash. On the plus side I was just about able to get it, sort of, out of the way.

Needs to go on a diet though, couldn't move it for trying.

Fortunately, it eventually restarted with a gallon added.  :-[

Also should be the last time it gets run that low as after this week my commute drops to about ten times a month rather than five days a week.
