Try turning off the motion sensor for a while ... I had problems with a reasonably large moth trapped inside, when it woke up and started flying around off went the alarm ... eventually found the bugger and removed him .. no further problems ..

I have known some other alarm systems to go off due to driving home with the heater on full whack and the cabin being nice and toasty, and when the alarm is set and the sensors take their readings, they can often see the sudden drop in temperature over the next hour or so as a detected fault. If this is the case, try turning down the sensitivity of the internal sensors a little.
