I have just been into town to organise POA .managed to get one out of the two done .

Also went to Boots to buy some medical equipment.

I was shocked by
A how many people are just out having a wander
B how many folk dont know how far to be away from others.

People really are just selfish. They will bring on the lockdown which will then make life harder for people like me.

On the plus side there were some people  wearing masks and gloves.

I believe that was the plan I suspect that there will now not be anywhere to grab a sandwich or coffee at work

Seems like all drive-thrus are closing - Costa, McDonalds, etc etc.. as you say, soon the only option will be home cooked food or home cooked food (or starve), regardless of where you are.

Will be making one last trip to the Costa drive-thru before it closes tonight other than that, nothing really changes; we'll go out to the supermarket when we need food (because there's no alternative), potter about the house until we run out of things to clean/tidy/trim/etc, work from home during the week (which I already did). Nothing will change even when/if the Army are deployed (do we still have an army? Presumably they'll have to call all the Terries in as well) to keep us all in our homes, because we'll still need to eat (which means going to the supermarket, unless the Army will also be delivering rations).


Suppose we could just do what China do (which I keep seeing people shouting about as being the answer to everything on arsebook) - shoot/disappear the infected.. I'm guessing those suggesting it wouldn't like it much when their parents/grandparents "disappeared"

While I'm ranting - this whole thing just seems to be another excuse for people to call anyone who disagrees with their personal point of view a retard/idiot/dick/etc; just like Brexit it's "If you don't agree with me then you don't deserve to exist!"

I don't think so. I've noticed Aaron has been quite pessimistic over the last weeks. He has mentioned a few times that he is pissed off (with various things). He's also mentioned about people not having a job to go back to, I don't know if that was personal or general. I've pushed the button a few times, as you know, and I hope, after a period of time, he feels able to come back.
