I have now fitted them and they are an improvement and yes they are definitely HIs for dipped beam.

Just one of the many benefits of getting older I suppose, anyway, sorry guys.

I need to go for a drive somewhere darker to be sure, but so far they don't seem much different to the original bulbs in mine

There is a chance someone had already fitted upgrades
