Fitted NCDC & CID to replace NCDC & GID. Removed pesky EML light while I was in there. Keep clearing the code, and it comes back within a hundred or so miles. Would rather put it back in for MOT once a year,if need be, than having it lit all the time.

Did the annual oil and filters. As it has only done 4700 miles, I was tempted to leave it, but the slightly lumpy idle suggested new plugs: it turns out that 2 are knackered, and another well past its best.

Changed the rear shocks for a pair of B4s in preparation for the MOT. Usual thing. First shock came off fine. Other side required me to get out the "Angry tools". ::)

Just got to do the drop links (again!), rear disks, cam belt, air filter, pollen filter, fix the coolant leak, polish the headlight lenses, change the wiper blades... ::)

Had 2 Rainsport 3's fitted to the front of the TD Estate. The Enduro 916's that came off had only done 7500, but were all over the place, even with even wear and 4k left in tread. >:(

Opened my package of 4 new springs and a heater matrix from ATP. That was mainly so it takes up less space, as I've no idea when I'm going to have time to actually fit them. Although I need the springs done before we go to France in March.

Broke down on A40 West London yesterday pm. Engine cut out. Started again but only went a few hundred yards before cutting out again. Recovered to local garage in Flitwick and await their findings. PITA. Had to take the Adam this am.  >:(
