battery query for remote fob
« on: 07 June 2011, 14:15:14 »

The batteries have now failed in both my key fobs leading to the embarrasing situation that ,whilst I can "manually" lock the car up , whenever I "manually " unlock it with the key the alarm goes off until I put the key in the ignition. Fair enough, so Ive now put new batteries in both fobs. The little red light comes on in both fobs now. But thats it, the light comes on for the briefest of time and the remote locking/unlocking still doesnt work. Am I just missing something and is it me just being stupid (again ;D)? The car is a mini-facelift S reg. Thanks in advance :y

Key in ignition, switch on, press button to lock/unlock, key is then re-synchronised
