Title: rear electric windows
Post by: annihilator on 26 August 2017, 20:19:11
I've got a pair of unrusty rear doors to fit onto the Tourer which as standard has keep kit rear windows and my question is does the loom that comes from the b pillar/sill area have the extra wires to allow electric operation if used with the correct console and door switches?
Thanks John.

If your new doors are complete, then should be plug and play on the earlier cars :y

Pop the plug out of the b pillar to be sure...

Retrofitted electric windows to a 94 saloon last year which had manual windows all around. All the Wiring was already in place. Just needed the door looms and motors/switches.

Finally got round to this and it is indeed plug and play providing of course you fit the relevant fuse which I did eventually after a bit of head scratching  :D
