Swmbo told me yesterday that she had been called out of work twice to say her windows were open, on each occasion she had closed them, believing she had caught the switch the first time, baffled the second time............... ;) ;)

Having never heard of this as a problem I started asking a few questions, and it would seem that on the morning she had brushed snow off the car but when she opened the door some snow fell onto the switch panel in the door handle. Assuming water shorting out the switches I gave them a liberal squirt of WD40 down the gaps, seems to have done the job as no further problems................ :y :y

On Meds which say not to drink, it won't hurt me, so ignored, more or less, but does knock me out and last couple of nights I have fallen asleep downstairs, Last night swmbo had to get up, and she caught me - apparently took her a while before I woke; this morning I had no recalculation of her waking me............ ::) ::) :-[ :-[ :-X

General Discussion Area / LED light bulbs...........
« on: 14 November 2014, 23:44:46 »
Or spot lights in this case. Refurbishing Master Vamps bedroom ready for Miss Vamps I have installed new lighting, in all this includes 6 spot lights at 50 watt each, so if she has both on it is 300watts; and she is a booger for leaving lights on......... ::) ::)

Bought 6 x LED spot bulbs rated at 4.5 watt each, and they are brighter with a more natural light, total of 28 Watts if she left them on, quite a saving for a better light......... :y :y

Bought a 'normal' bulb for our lamp in the lounge, but not tried it yet........ ;)
