before pulling my drivers door apart any ideas. when I operate with the  remote the pop up stops just short so I have to pull it up 2mm? to open the door or operate the inside handle. Another day the remote operates ok but the inside handle doesnt open the door. Strange?

My drivers side lock popup is not always popping up fully and I have to pull it up from the back door to get into the car. The inside handle operates ok. Before I pull the door card off is it the motor getting tired or just lubrication needed.

My ignition barrel  locked today. After putting key in and out several times and wiggling the sterring wheel it released and now seems ok. Is the barrel on the way out. If so I assume that main dealer can supply suitable barrel matched to my key.

I recently had a new alternator put on my 2,6 It gets very hot is this normal. I have never checked this before and have only checked on this new one because of the smell of hot electics in the engine bay.

What is the normal voltage  output of the alternator and does it vary with speed.I have had trouble with mine, a lack of charging battery but no red light warning any ideas.

my display is difficult to read during the day . moving the rheostat has no effect. With lights on the rheostat does have a dimming effect on the display is this normal

Lost all the  notches  on the handbrake lever after alternator fitted at garage it will go back to garage but in the meantime is it a simple fix. The hanbrake seems to work ok but no notches to hold it on.

How do I open the glove box when the handle has come off there is a toggle bit inside the body of the lock mechanism can this be moved in some direction to get the door open so that a repair can  be done

There is a coolant hose that goes from the auxiliary coolant pump across the front top of the rad. any pictures of the routing and clipping would be appreciated

The tow bar height om my 03 V6 seems rather low even though I put new springs on the back. Can I ask for a couple of comparisons from members height to centre of ball (that is height of tow ball, not the person)  and any other suggestions.
