No you don't see as many as there used to be, but it seems there's plenty about as my kale was quickly stripped to the stalks by caterpillars!  :o  ::)

Can't say as I've seen any butterflies either, bees I see plenty of as I have 3 wild flowers growing 1 in the front garden 2 in the back garden I was going to pull them up as they look untidy, but the bees love them so I've left them in.

When I were a lad.....there used to be so many wasps and bees and butterflies and ladybirds that we couldn't go out in the summer coz we'd get stung to death. Not like that these days.

Wasps have thankfully been in short supply, but more butterflies this year than normal, around these parts

I have a couple of Red Admirals that often visit my bedroom and no amount of encouragement will persuade them to leave. Never mind, they don't harm anything and are quite pretty, so if they like it there, I'm ok with that.   :) :y

What absolute tosh! I used to be gullible enough to believe most things, but after teaching mostly teenage males for nearly 20 years, I have a finely-tuned bullshine detector, so better luck next time, ronnuyd!  :P
