As anyone swapped back to Sky?
« on: 21 April 2007, 21:15:16 »

We with NTL and they have been taken over by Virgin, and have not got sky one and others too, so Mrs Loo-knee is missing all the Lost series :'(
But she has seen the Sky man in town and to change over seems such a pain in the rear! got to wait so long for this and so long for that ... as anyone else swapped over??
Was it loads of meither??

And where, exactly, can you legally get the Sky One programmes on the net?

We're in a rental.  Can't get Sky.  Funnily enough, just in the middle of catching up on Lost on tape.  Another mate usually has the DVD's.  However, technically it's illegal to borrow DVD's from mates . . .  :-?

Trains may have been invented here, but public transport is a foreign concept!

Funnily enough i had a sky operator phone me earlier and ask if i was happy with my current TV/broadband/telephone provider and would i consider going back to SKY....even after i explained i had a contract with Virgin he still asked if i would go back to them,i then asked what incentives he would give me and after listing all the freebies ive had of NTL/Virgin he said that he could knock £2 a month of what i currently pay to Virgin....£2  ;D....it was at this point i politely said go away your wasting my ....... time. ::)

:PI've tried both but stick with ntl/virgin broadband & tv £19.99 per month. I do'nt watch sport, let's face it most movies you fall asleep to coz she wanted to watch them when you'd rather be doing something else less boring anyway so why pay for it? Spend your money on a dab radio & listen to planet rock in the garage pretending you're busy when you're really drinking stella & playing darts!!!  ;D
