seems all the syfy films ( madmax, escape from new york, even the christine/ duel type flims) are making a car styling comeback.?? :-?

Back in '95 my first car was a '76 Allegro - just enough power that you could get into trouble if you tried really really hard (85mph downhill with a tail wind!) but basically indestructible, slow and cheap - just like a Renault 5. Zero street cred, of course, so no good for picking up girls outside McDonalds..

What a cracking ad. Almost makes you want to bid...almost. As for a first car i reckon my 1965 101 Victor was better.
   Regarding his comments on driving the thing it were'nt Renaults like that from new, or still are??? ::)

I have to confess to owning three aggros,two 1.3's and a vdp1500 complete with picnic tables in the back :D :y
