Why thank you all, most kind!!

I've already perused the maintenance section and have compiled a list of jobs to do as soon as I pick the car up. And my thanks to all those who took the time to post up the "How To" guides as well, I will be following those most keenly!

Although not looking forward to cleaning the crankcase breathers, as that looks like it might take a full afternoon of graft. Plus there are a number of things to disengage and reattach at the same time, to facilitate it.

Might leave that for the time being until I have a Saturday full of guaranteed sunshine so I can take my time over it.

Welcome aboard. Not a bad price from a garage considering the the mileage if it's true. Are you gonna bring it to the Telford meet on the 23rd & show it off? 8-)

I am tempted, but have an exam first thing monday morning and that entire weekend is devoted to last minute preparation.  :-[

However, if there is a "Crankcase breather cleansing soiree" in the near future then I'll be there!!
