Sorry, that link doesn't seem to work. But oil is down nearly 17% in the last month.

Yep Brent Crude is $76.79 right now, down from a recent spike on 27th Sept when it got to the giddy heights of $95.34.

I paid £1.47 for a litre of diesel yesterday at Costco Avonmouth, but the local petrol stations down here in the Dorset/Devon borderlands are still charging about £1.60 a litre.

Diesel has dropped from 172 to 160 in two weeks here.

Not much given the fall in crude.

Looks like pump prices won't drop much either as Brent Crude recovered yesterday's slide today on rumours of an imminent OPEC+ production cut.  :(

89.9p in My nearest Morrisons at the moment, when they can actually be bothered to stock the stuff, taking the piss if I'm honest considering it was only 37.9p this time last year at the local Sainsbury's before they decided "were not playing that game anymore, so bugger off".

Obviously I'm referring to LPG, which is now like Liquid Gold unless you live in Brum or Manchester.  >:(

Best I can get on the UL Jungle Juice at the moment is 137.9 or 145.9 for the pure Crude in East London.  :y

I also pit E5 in the 2002 astra G 1.4 as it's rarely used.

about £1.63 per L

I put e5 in most of the time, but when it got within site of two quid a litre a while back I refused on principle to pay that much for petrol.  A few tanks of e10 isnt going to do any harm.

As the Omega has knock sensors, you should be able to get better MPG off it, *IF* you don't make use of the extra power you can also achieve.

Ex-Bro had a 4.8l X5, and said it was cheaper to use the high octane stuff, as the extra MPG easily outweighed the extra cost....    ....unless I was driving ;D

Its had a bit of use, albeit it short journeys, so its well topped up with electricity :y

As a rule, that car doesn't get used for a couple of weeks, then will do 150 miles.  In order to keep the battery in good condition, I charge it if it hasn't been used for a couple of weeks :).  Also, if I've washed it, or worked on it and then not use for a few days I tend to charge it - it seems to have quite a heavy draw when left unlocked, more so if the doors are open or frequently opened and closed.

£139.9 for a litre of Costco's finest DERV at Avonmouth this afternoon, and I think I spied through the gathering dusk that Unleaded was £129.9.  :)
