Yep, he deleted his account. Some reckon he was made to feel like a pauper by his Lincolnshire neighbour, and he was so ashamed he pressed the button.

Right. I see.

Well I'm glad he is not six feet under.  :y

Do you know the real reason he went?

Well I'm back under a new name had a lot of problems with our internet which my Grandson tried to sort out as I don't have a clue ! Anyhow Merc has gone back to MTSV & may be going to a buyer in Hong Kong he also bought the Terracan from me in readiness for the winter. I have now got a vehicle I thought I would never buy a Range Rover Sport ! It's a one owner with full history with 87,000 miles 3.6 V8 twin turbo & I absolutely love it.😎

Should also add that I lost virtually everything from my computer bank accounts etc, but all sorted now thankfully with the help of a pal from work.

Now then, Tilbo, I hope you're gonna behave yourself this time. I don't want to have to knock your computer out again.  ;D

What's the chance of getting my count back, Newbie my arse !

Don't think there is an easy way of “ getting your count back”

We have had people before pretending to be former members. You will just have to do some posts.

If you need to sell your Omega you will need 250 posts

The V8 part of the equation has much to commend it.... :y

But, unless I'm mistaken, the 3.6 twin turbo part means it runs on the fuel of Satan. :-X

Are you aware of this, Mr Tilbo?.........if so what is your defence? ::) ::) ::) ::) ;)

It's a 2008 believe it's an L422 model & is absolutely immaculate really been looked after & pampered the wife found it for me, belonged to one of her friends employers who was trading it in for a John Cooper convertible mini the RRS cost £58,000 when she bought it they offered her £6000 for it which she refused , put it up for £7995 & I got it for £7000 but only had to put £2800 towards it as I got £4200 for the two I sold so well happy had a budget of £15,000 so plenty left for anything cropping up  had a new air suspension pump at 60,000 miles & has had oil changes religiously every six months to preserve the turbochargers which is a body of chassis repair I think that is a £3000+ job. And yes Opti it is a diesel plenty of torque from this beast & it sounds magnificent. Mark Taylor who owns MTSV has seen it & would put up for around £8750 he bought my other two cars and said he would love to buy it off me.

Nothing lost financially just my stupidity it seems in operating a computer, and deleting just about everything used internet banking for years & never had any problems.

It sounds awesome is my only defence Lord Opti, if it's good enough for royalty ( my employer her maj) it's fine for me one of her humble employees.😉 The other thing is it was an absolute bargain, and us Lincolnshire folk do like a good deal..

What's the MPG like on the V8? I read that the bigger tdv8 is slightly better. Then again, at the price you got it for... :y

.  The least I've had is 25 mpg the best last weekend went to see my Brother in law who lives in Ninfield near Battle 332 miles there & back put in 50 litres so 30mpg very happy with that the Terracan used to do 32 but the RR is a much nicer place to be ,the acceleration is very good for a vehicle weighing 2.7 tons. It is 1.5 seconds slower on the 0-60mph than the 5.0 supercharged so is ample for me.
Official figures are..
Urban 19mpg
Mixed 25mpg
Best    31mpg
So more or less spot on & gives a good indication of the condition of the vehicle.

Certainly does. And for once good to see a car that actually makes its figures. Or mpg figures that aren't grossly overstated. Depending on how you look at it.

I waved my terracan off about a week ago. Was sad to see her go, but also knew for sure she needed £500 to get a new MOT, so it was the time to shift her.  :-\

.

Had my Terracan for just over 7 years never let me down once paid £5450 for it from its first owner with 25,000 miles showing sold it for £1250 with 86,000 miles on the clock.

Mine came with 130k and got sold with 140k. For £1300 and £800 odd respectively. In 11months' ownership it cost me £20 to replace some perished fuel return lines, £30 for a brake light switch and about £100 in service items.

As a pikey house tow vehicle, it was exceptional.  :y
