How do I get to the clock/radio display?
« on: 27 January 2009, 21:42:49 »

I have a 2002 (52 Plate) 2.2 Diesel GLS  which I have had for 6 years.  The car is fitted with with a CDR2005 radio.  The clock/radio display is losing segments due I guess to poor contacts on the back.  I also periodically loose one or more dashboard lights which come back on with a thump in the right place.

How do I get to the back of the display to waggle the contacts?

On the facelift you also have to remove the top part of the steering cowl in order to slide the instrument panel out. With steering wheel central turn it 90deg and you`ll see a screw cap, remove and undo screw. Two screws so turn wheel 90deg left and right :y
