Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Fitting HID Xenon Lights

Now then guys and gals, I have searched and searched but to my knowledge nobody has shared their experience or views of fitting aftermarket HID's to the Omega?

I have concluded that this will be a well worthwhile upgrade to our facelift CD spec having seen the performance of the factory fit units on our Elite. With the car already having projector lenses (which would prove to be much safer and smarter) and some real cheap deals to be had on the 'bay, very tempted indeed.

Doesn't seem like a difficult job (i've seen the guides for calibra & astra) so would anybody be kind enough to point us in the right direction - piccies, products, people etc!

Any help much appreciated!

Ey up folks, just a quickie to say thanks for the absolute wealth of knowledge you guys bring to this site. Congrats for making it so informative, easy to use and friendly  

Having put a few thousand miles under our belts with firstly a '51 2.2DTi CD Estate and now a beautiful new '03 2.2DTi Elite Estate, have to say, you won't find a better car for the cash!

Anyways, hope you don't mind me putting a few queries about with regard to a couple of niggles and a couple of projects i wouldn't mind doing.

Have to say the forum is always a good craic and the friendliest on the whole of the t'interweb. Made my stay most informative and enjoyable cheers  

*Admin, would you be kind enough to have a read through (currently located in 'Test' and perhaps promote it to maintenance if it is deemed worthy enough! The piccies are quite big from where i'm sitting but currently working 15"........though it's enough for most women

Who uses aftermarket air filters? How long do they last? Does it just make your motor noisier? Worth a punt?....What is the spray can in the picture?

...an old shape W REG CDX estate   It didn't look its best in a fairly dubious brown colour but nevertheless, it must be pretty unique.

Has anybody else got a W reg pre-facelift motor?

.....now I need to get out more
