Iíve not yet quite finished the 2.6 project Ö. And now Iíve bought another Omega!

A 2003, 3.2 V6 came up on Facebook marketplace. Only a few miles from me.

Owner seems a very genuine guy. He said ďthe water pump pulley broke, I replaced the pulley and unit, but checked the cambelt and it had slipped / sheared teeth or similar.

Plan is to attempt a fix. Will do head-off work if needs be although itís slow progress with my back. Itís had a lot of work including new sills for last MOT.

Will be making every effort to get it running again, would be criminal to break a 3.2 if it can be fixed.

£500. Canít loose and will enjoy the summer tinkering now the 2.6 is almost done.

Iíll have to sell one of them in due course. Canít keep two. Tempted to keep the 2.6, itís not so good paint wise, but mechanically Iíve replaced everything imaginable under the Bonnet!

Wouldnt happen to be the silver elite estate by chance would it?

In the south east, we appear to be being held at artificially high prices
I bought 99 octane in Tewksbury two weeks ago for less than standard unleaded here and diesel at less than standard unleaded in these parts. Our closest refinary is only 30 miles away so they cant claim transport costs

Turned up to a pre booked car show only to find that the American car club that had its show cancelled the day before due to water logged ground, arrived before the orgainisers mob handed and tool 70% of the space up. We could not get in along with a great deal many others who had pre booked. Just hope it does not put those off who could not get in today from attending future events at the venue

The one section of my commute where I occasionally don't end up following some dull VW driver at 45 MPH, so I can have a play, has got average speed cameras going up. >:(

Good job I'm a reformed character, really. ::)
Same problem  :(
A38 down to 40mph on most of the section i use ,
and the "works" are well beyond the finish schedule  >:(
my MPG has gone up a whole 0.3 MPG  :D
just been raped £220 for RFL (6 months)
I suspect none of it will "save rge planet"  :-X

Cost me £385 for 6 months on the Monaro :o
