Biden in his senility has an alarming habit of telling the world that the USA would intervene if China invades Formosa, which of course is music to to Taiwanese ears, but a US president actually on the island that China claims as their own territory telling the world that they would take military action if the PLA steps foot in the Republic of China, might be a bit too provocative.

Harris is as thick as two short planks and would probably cackle about Vietnam, Hong Kong or something...

So Pelosi is as you say is batty enough to think the visit is a good idea, but probably had enough marbles left to keep her mouth shut whilst there. 

They had to send a high ranking member of the American Government to send the right message to the People's Republic of China. I doubt President Xi would be this hot and bothered if they had sent a junior minister.

Once she was safely in South Korea, Crazy Nance declared that the only reason that the PRC was so upset by her visit to the Republic of China is because she is a woman.

Incidentally, neither the President or Foreign Minister of South Korea could meet her, as the President was conveniently on holiday and the Foreign Minister was apparently on a well timed visit to Cambodia.
