Bought some shitty wheels and tyres from egay for the BBP, so I could get mine refurbed and straightened.  Chucked them on, then took my old wheels to one of the refurb places I've used a couple of times before.

The ditch finders now on the car do give immense understeer when pushed. I must remember than for the next week or so.  And its not even wet yet ;D
Do you choose your cars on the lack of wheel strength or is it chance? ;D

Joking aside, seeing the wheels on HMs hearse the other day did make me wonder if they were a retail option and how they would look on a slate grey lwb XJ...

We were disussing those with the fleet team last week, apparently they are armoured ones, in this case able to take a greater weight

Given Oxfordshire's roads, and the fact I (to quote Darth Loo-knee) "drive like a idiot", I bet I could bend 'em....

He assures me he is a much quieter, calmer mature fella these days. We shall see.  ::)

Took it to Sytner for it's second EGR Cooler recall (First in my ownership).

Nice Coffee and they washed and hoovered it so can't be bad.... Would have preferred two new rear tyres and a tankful of diesel for free though ;D

Took the miles in my ownership over 2,000. Averaging 33mpg  :y

Also booked it into Hatfield's Land Rover to have some niggles attended to while I'm on holiday next week.

Attempted to program a new key to the Big Black Pussy, only to be met with an error about the incorrect keyless module being fitted.  Will check the partnumber, but in reality suspect its an outdated firmware on it.  Laptop then died, so that stopped further play, just as CBA kicked in (well, a desire for a bag of chips, seeing as she'd gone out for a curry with her mates)

I was cooking a curry for tea on Monday, Indian of course. I had a quick taste of it and it was suitably spicy without being over hot. Mmmm.....
Then it hit me. Mo had a meeting on Tuesday morning with the CEO of the trust and a few other executives  :o I quickly knocked up egg, chips and beans and had to explain why she was getting that for her tea. Close call, I can imagine the looks passing around the big table, with accusatory looks and red faces  ;D

An amusing game I occasionally play, to break up the tedium of most pointless meetings.

(Not that most meetings are pointless, but our company is now all-in on these utterly pointless wankathons)
